                                                                                 Two  test  cases  at  Mount  Etna  (Italy)  and
                                                                                 Krafla caldera (Iceland) provide ideal condi-
                                                                                 tions  to  develop  advanced  methods  and
                                                                                 understanding of the subsurface structure
                                                                                 and dynamics at active volcanoes.
